Board approves consent agenda including conference travel, student trip and donations

The board approved its consent agenda on a motion by Waller, supported by Fowler; the motion carried 6-0. Approved items included prior meeting minutes, the January check register and travel or attendance requests: Kelli Tuller to attend the MASA Women in Leadership Conference (April 27–28, 2026, Traverse City); Christopher Phillips and Stefanie Albring to attend the MIAAA Athletic Administrators Conference (March 12–15, 2026, Traverse City); Will Green and Dianna Synowiec to attend the Michigan Council for Exceptional Children Conference (Feb. 25–27, 2026, Grand Rapids); and Terry Davison, Mahailey Albain and 14 high school students to attend the Michigan Youth in Government Conference in Lansing (Feb. 26–Mar. 1, 2026).
The minutes also list four donations: $1,060 from Chuck Hatch to the HS Youth in Government group, $530 from the Erie VFW for HS YIG sponsorship, and two anonymous $500 donations (one to Mason Music Booster and one to Keeney Field maintenance). The board took no separate action on public comment recorded during this portion of the meeting.
