Student council reports highlight service projects; staff member honored

Madeline Kolbe, representing the middle school student council, briefed the board on recent and planned student activities, including food drives and a sock drive, and other service efforts. CES student council members Garrett Bortel and Mason Cordrey led the Pledge of Allegiance at the start of the meeting.
The board recognized Will Green, a CES special education teacher, as the November Staff Member of the Month; the recognition was sponsored by Leski Wittman Insurance Agency. The Superintendent's Report highlighted that a senior received approval for a work-based learning placement at St. Luke's in Temperance and will deliver a sermon there. The minutes also note a district news brief called "Tuller's Tidbits" distributed to families.
