The Granville Village Board on Sept. 8 audited and approved claims totaling $206,963.29 across multiple funds and authorized a small budget transfer to prevent an overdraft in youth-program payroll.
The approved claims were: General Fund $89,703.25; Water Fund $21,650.97; Sewer Fund $88,153.93; Senior Shuttle $1,118.64; Unaudited Vouchers $6,336.50. Clerk‑Treasurer Rick Roberts asked the board to move $1,000 within the Sewer Fund to cover salaries for the village swim program (A73101 P/S, Youth Programs +$1,000; A73104 Cont. Expense, Youth Programs -$1,000). Trustee Heather Leaman moved approval of the payments and Trustee Paul Garrone seconded; Deputy Mayor Dean Hyatt noted the board had audited the claims and the motions carried unanimously.
The Board's action keeps village accounts current ahead of upcoming seasonal expenses and avoids an overdraft in the swim-program payroll line. No members of the public spoke, and there were no objections recorded.
