Rockdale ISD leaders to attend Summer Leadership Institute; trustees to present sessions

Superintendent Dr. Denise Monzingo said trustees and administrators are scheduled to attend the Texas Association of School Boards Summer Leadership Institute June 11–14, 2025; district staff and board members will present sessions at the conference.
Superintendent Dr. Denise Monzingo told the Board that district trustees and administrators are registered to attend the Texas Association of School Boards Summer Leadership Institute in San Antonio, scheduled for June 11–14, 2025.
Dr. Monzingo said board members are registered for Evaluating and Improving Student Outcomes (EISO) training and new board member training at the Texas Trustee Institute; she and Board President Charles Miles will present at the conference, and Assistant Superintendents Tiffany Whitsel and Kathy Pelzel will also present sessions.
The district noted that most trustees qualify to obtain the majority of required continuing education credits for the year through the SLI and related trainings.
