The Trout Lake Community Council confirmed its 2025 election timeline during its Sept. 2 meeting at The Grange. Council member Joanna Turner reported that positions numbered 4 (Jim), 5 (Daina) and 6 (Aaron) are up this year and presented an updated election poster and poll-sitter notes.
Joanna Turner said the council discussed candidate outreach logistics and "we are not including a submit by date for candidate interest statements," a decision the council agreed to move forward with. The council did not record a formal motion on outreach deadlines; members emphasized broad notice to encourage participation. The minutes from the Aug. 5 meeting were approved at the start of the meeting after Lucas King moved to approve and Tom Binder seconded; the council voted "all in favor."
