Middletown recycling staff to host pumpkin dumpster; painted or waxed pumpkins not accepted

Commissioners discussed alternate outlets, such as farms and the high school's animal programs, and noted transfer station hours and space limits (Blue Earth containers) can be a constraint for some residents.
The commission suggested outreach via CivicSend and local partners, and staff said they would explore options for pickup or collection coordination and consider a locked or app-based container if misuse occurred.
