The Board approved Resolution 55‑20‑24 awarding a professional consulting agreement to Vireo for planning, design and engineering work on Hall Park. Parks and Recreation Director Eric Marshall said staff solicited qualifications from five firms, selected Vireo based on scoring, and submitted required documentation to the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) as part of the grant process.
Marshall told the board the project submittal has the necessary approvals from LWCF to proceed with a notice to proceed and said the associated grant award is $500,000. The resolution passed on a unanimous voice vote after the board moved and seconded approval.
