Community Development Director David Pavlich said the agreement lets Kearney residents use mobile collection events and regional drop‑off sites, and that Kearney hosts a mobile collection every other year.
Pavlich reported that "so far this year, we've had a 156, cars go down to the Kansas City drop off location," and told the board the program remains free to Kearney residents. The ordinance title listed the agreement amount as $12,497.80; the board approved the item unanimously on second reading.
