City to approve $35,000 RiverCOG match for Airline Trail connector grant

“This $35,000 is going to pay the RiverCog match,” Weisberg said. He told the council the match is a required step so RiverCOG can pay the state for their portion of the connector project; staff asked the council to accept the grant payment so the city can disburse the match as intended.
Councilmembers did not press for additional commentary in the workshop; the item remains on the regular meeting agenda for formal acceptance.
