The board completed several routine administrative actions at its July 28 workshop. Councilman Cauchi moved and the board approved the agenda and a previous meeting’s minutes; the board also authorized payment of bills totaling $233,332.36 (motion by Councilman Cauchi, seconded by Councilwoman Sessa; Yeas:4 Nays:0).
Councilwoman Sessa moved to advertise for an open position on the Board of Assessment Review (BOAR); Councilman Zambito seconded and the motion carried. Supervisor Corcoran read correspondence including a letter from Jeffrey and Paula Gliedman praising highway repairs and reported that the repair cost was roughly $40,000 with an insurance payout of $25,000. Councilwoman Sessa moved to allow the Marlboro Milton Lions Club use of the Train Station on Sept. 3, 2025 and waive the fee; Councilman Zambito seconded and the motion passed (Yeas:4 Nays:0). The meeting adjourned at 8:16 p.m.
