Milton opens public hearing on 2025 Stormwater Management Plan; hearing closed after brief presentation

Supervisor Corcoran opened a public hearing on the Town of Milton's 2025 Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP) and the MS4 annual report on Sept. 22, 2025, saying the meeting is required by the state and intended to gather public input before the plan is submitted. The hearing was opened at 7:05 p.m. at 21 Milton Turnpike. "The town is now required by the state to hold an annual public meeting for its MS4 Storm Water Management Plan (SWMP) for town properties," Corcoran said.
Corcoran told the board that the town works with engineering firm McGoey, Hauser and Edsall to prepare, review and maintain stormwater compliance; he added that the plan previously involved internal departments such as code enforcement and the assessor but has moved to external handling because of increased complexity. Staff members Danielle Cherubini and Cindy were reported to be updating website links so MS4 reports are easier to access. No public comments were recorded in the minutes during the session.
After the presentation of the purpose and administrative details, Councilwoman Sessa moved to close the public hearing at 7:11 p.m., and Councilman Cauchi seconded the motion. The board recorded a 5–0 vote in favor of closing the hearing, and the minutes were signed by Deputy Town Clerk Danielle Cherubini.
