Youth Fishing Day Sept. 27 and Trunk-or-Treat Oct. 25 set by Recreation Committee

The Recreation Committee will host Youth Fishing Day on Sept. 27, 2025 (9 a.m.–1 p.m.) and Trunk-or-Treat on Oct. 25, 2025 (3:30–5:30 p.m.). The committee stocked the pond with 155 bluegill and 40 largemouth bass; 30 trunks are registered for the Halloween event and donations are being accepted.
Arlette Zambito, Recreation Chair, said the Recreation Committee, the Marlboro Milton Lions Club and the NYSDEC will hold Youth Fishing Day on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; the committee purchased and stocked the pond with 155 bluegill and 40 largemouth bass for the event. The committee thanked the Police Department, which has five registered trunks for the Trunk-or-Treat event.
The Trunk-or-Treat 'Halloween in the Park' will be Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025 from 3:30–5:30 p.m.; 30 trunks are registered so far. The committee requested candy and monetary donations to support families who cannot get candy, and advised residents they can drop donations at Town Hall and the Highway Department.
