Resident asks whether students can remain in ACCESS program; superintendent points parents to library ESL services

Following an ACCESS presentation, a resident asked if a student who achieved proficiency could remain in services and whether the district offers parent English-language classes; Superintendent Michele Pillari said the district does not currently offer them and that "the public library offered these kind of services."
At the start of the meeting Mrs. Tomback presented the 2024–2025 ACCESS results. During the public hearing on agenda items, a Woodland Park resident asked whether a student who reached the level at which services are typically discontinued could remain in the program with parental permission and whether the district offers services to help parents learn English.
Superintendent Michele Pillari responded that the district does not currently offer adult English-language classes but noted that "the public library offered these kind of services." The exchange did not result in a board directive to create district-run parent ESL classes; Business Administrator Aleksandar Kondovski later said federal ESEA allocation figures would be on a future agenda, but the board did not take action on adult ESL programming at this meeting.
