Royse City ISD Swears In Cindi Jobe; Board Reorganizes Officers

Immediately after the swearing-in, trustees voted to disband the current board organization and appoint the superintendent as temporary chair to handle the reorganization. That procedural motion passed 5-0 with two trustees absent. The board then nominated and approved new officers: Scott Muckensturm as Board President, Mike Anderson as Vice President and Bobby Summers as Board Secretary; each officer was elected by a recorded 5-0 vote.
Trustee Cindi Jobe thanked colleagues and community members after being sworn in. "The district is very near and dear to her heart," she said, adding she is excited to serve. Multiple trustees offered congratulatory remarks; Board President Scott Muckensturm noted Jobe "has been part of this district for quite some time."
