Board approves $486,241.94 in bills, OKs grant applications and ESEA awards

The bill list was noted as approved by finance committee chair Joseph Giammarella. The board also authorized submission of an IMPACT grant application to the New Jersey Department of Education for $98,829 to purchase and implement literacy instructional materials.
Separately the board accepted anticipated FY2026 ESEA grant awards: Title I $375,434; Title II $48,101; Title III $14,503; Title III‑Immigrant $5,683; Title IV $25,913. The board approved use of $48,174 in FY25 Extraordinary Aid to the district general-fund health‑benefits line (11‑000‑291‑270‑00).
