Resident David Joyce used the public-comment period to seek clarification about why the Board was not addressing recent developments related to a Planned Unit Development (PUD) at 515-519 Park Drive. Joyce recounted his history in the Village, expressed disagreement with procedural decisions and characterized Village officials and staff as unsympathetic to his concerns.
President Cecily Kaz thanked Joyce for his substantive comments but took issue with his tone, encouraging continued engagement "only if they can be done in a respectful manner." She reiterated that "no decision has been made regarding the PUD," said the review process remains ongoing, and noted the Village has sought to keep residents informed of the process. High school student Lilly Ryan, auditing the meeting, offered thanks to the Board for their work.
