The Wellston Board of Education voted Oct. 8 to select the ACT as the district-provided college-admissions test for the 2025–2026 school year, replacing the SAT. The motion, made by Bradley Pittman and seconded by Crystal Hull, carried on a recorded vote of 5–0.
Board members discussed the test-selection item under agenda item 8.5 and recorded the unanimous approval; no additional implementation details (vendor, administration schedule, or costs) were recorded in the minutes.
