Residents highlight youth fishing, Trunk or Treat and other community events; noise and transparency concerns raised

Arlette Zambito, Recreation Chair, reported the Youth Fishing Event on Sept. 27 was a success, asked the board to post a catch‑and‑release sign at Cluett Schantz Park, and reminded the public that Trunk or Treat is scheduled for Oct. 25 and the Christmas Light Parade for Dec. 6. The board approved a no‑fee use request for the Marlboro High School JV/Varsity Girls Volleyball banquet on either Nov. 22 or Dec. 6, if the Community Center is available.
Other public comments included a noise complaint about a local venue (Manette Bowman) and multiple speakers urging better transparency around the early voting site relocation and personnel legal matters. Residents asked the board to publish communications with the Board of Elections and to provide more information about legal costs tied to the town’s litigation.
