Marlborough Recreation Committee reports 48 trunks at Trunk or Treat; holiday parade set for Dec. 6

Recreation Chair Arlette Zambito reported a successful Trunk or Treat with 48 trunks and announced the Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting on Dec. 6, 2025 (route from Locust Grove through Milton to Cluett Schantz Memorial Park). The committee also plans a Grinch movie showing on Dec. 14.
Arlette Zambito, Recreation Committee chair, told the board the committee's annual Trunk or Treat drew 48 decorated trunks. She thanked volunteers and partners including the PBA for food donations and noted committee meeting dates will move to the second Wednesday of each month.
Zambito also announced the Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting scheduled for Dec. 6, 2025; "The parade kicks off at Locust Grove, goes through the hamlet of Milton and ends at the Cluett Schantz Memorial Park where the Christmas tree will be lit and there will be s'mores around the bonfire," she said. The committee plans inclusive holiday activities and a showing of the Grinch at the Community Center on Dec. 14.
