Marlborough CAC reports successful reuse event; flags ridgeline law appeal and EV charging connection

Mici Simonofsky, chair of the Conservation Advisory Committee, told the board the Sept. 21 Recycle, Reuse, Repurpose Community Day of Giving was well received and provided donations to nine civic groups. She highlighted ongoing drives for school supplies and shoes and credited community volunteers and county partners for participation.
Simonofsky said the CAC "is anticipating a date that Central Hudson will be connecting electricity to the EV charging stations and looking forward to completion of that project for the townspeople and visitors to our Town." She also said the CAC will follow "the newest challenge to the Ridgeline protection law" and plans its November meeting to coincide with the Zoning Board of Appeals hearing on Nov. 8 to monitor an appeal related to Code 155.
