The Board approved several community facility‑use requests and directed staff to follow standard scheduling procedures.
Meg Thompson requested waiver of the Community Center fee for a Community Sign‑up Day on June 13, 2026; Supervisor Corcoran moved to allow the use at no charge, the motion was seconded by Councilwoman Sessa and carried 4–0. Supervisor Corcoran also read a letter from Irene Canosa on behalf of the American Legion Viebey Sutton Post 124 requesting the Train Station for a Pearl Harbor Day remembrance on Dec. 7; the Board approved the request at no charge. A separate request from the Marlboro Milton Lions (with the American Legion) for use of the Community Center south room and kitchen for a veterans luncheon on Oct. 21 was also approved without fee.
Supervisor Corcoran asked that future correspondence include the sender’s name; he said the Board will not read anonymous letters aloud. Board members discussed placement and scheduling for community activities and will coordinate as needed with applicants.
