The South Burlington Development Review Board on Jan. 21, 2026, closed a continued application to alter the grade at 165 Windswept Lane after staff reviewed a revised drainage plan and advised the board that no changes were necessary.
The Chair summarized staff’s review of materials the applicants provided following direction at the Dec. 16 meeting and said, “the conclusion from that was that the proposed condition does not need to be modified or addressed to address our concerns, and staff was in agreement with that.” Applicant Shwamdev Chatterjee told the board he had supplied a video of the property and the site plan (page 7 of the packet) to clarify how the regraded area would drain. "I also provided a video of the the whole thing," Chatterjee said, later adding of the existing feature: "the ditch. It's like a marriage made in heaven."
The Chair noted that the homeowners association, which had previously submitted drainage concerns, is now “fine with it.” The Chair then asked for and received a motion to close the application; the Chair announced the motion carries and told the applicants, “We have everything we need from you all, and you'll be hearing from us.” The board did not request further conditions or modifications at the meeting.
