Public‑works lead Tommy listed several pieces of old equipment the village no longer needs, including a 1983 dump truck, an older street sweeper and pumps and pipe benders. Trustees discussed options to sell certain items by bid (blue dump truck and sweeper) and scrap remaining items that lack parts or market value. Trustee Nelson moved to approve selling the equipment; Paso seconded and trustees voted all ayes.
Tommy suggested attempting to sell the blue dump truck to local bidders and scrapping the street sweeper if parts could not be sourced. Trustees authorized staff to proceed with surplus procedures and to bring sale terms back to the board if needed.
