The City Council unanimously approved the consent agenda covering multiple administrative and project items. The package included authorization for the council chair to sign letters of support committing the city to required matching funds for a federal BUILD/Catalyst grant application; acceptance of the FY25 City Center TIF District annual report; authority for the city manager to enter into mutual-aid agreements to borrow or lend fire and EMS vehicles/equipment with neighboring municipalities; acceptance of a corrective warranty deed for the Dorset Street shared-use path; and the award of the engineering design contract for the Spear Meadows shared-use path to Green International Affiliates with authorization for the deputy director of capital projects to execute contract documents.
The chair called the question after a motion and second; the measure passed without opposition. "Aye," members responded when the chair called the vote, and the chair declared the consent agenda approved.
Councilors did not request separate votes on any single consent item at tonight's meeting; any contract or procurement that requires additional council approval will be returned to the council under separate action when necessary.
