Committee member Bobby Summers moved: "I move that the Board of Trustees authorize the Administration to advertise a Budget and Tax Rate Hearing for 7:00 p.m. on June 23, 2025, consisting of a tax rate of $1.2552 per hundred dollars of valuation." Committee member Eric Fort seconded the motion, which passed 4-0 with three members absent.
The board record shows the proposed tax rate ($1.2552 per $100 valuation) and the hearing date; CFO Bryant later introduced the proposed 2025–2026 budget during the workshop portion and noted the proposal could change depending on the legislative session outcome.
