Narberth Shade Tree Commission welcomes new member Harry Santurico

Carson, vice chair of the Narberth Shade Tree Commission, opened the meeting and introduced a new member: Harry Santurico. "Brand new member, Harry Santurico," Carson said, and commissioners welcomed him to the group.
Santurico told the commission he joined because he wanted to help plant trees. "I joined the Shade Tree because I don't think there's fewer, better things that a human can do than to plant trees," he said. Members noted Santurico's prior volunteer experience planting trees with existing members.
Commissioners used the introduction to orient Santurico to the commission's recurring activities — typical plantings in the 3rd week of November and the 3rd week of April, an annual Arbor Day event, and periodic reviews of development plans — and offered to meet one-on-one to give him an insider's view of ongoing projects.
