The court also accepted completed road and stormwater improvements in two Kindwood subdivisions into the county unit road system, approved release or extension of associated surety bonds where recommended by staff, and approved a one‑year extension of a construction surety for the Overlook at Canyon Lake subdivision.
The court appointed five members to the Comal County Fire Code Board of Appeals (David Emler; David Brewer; Juan Cardoba; Mike Baumgartel; Gerald Schultz). It approved a line‑item transfer in the auditor's office to cover an increase in GFOA dues and a small $555 transfer for a court laptop. Judge Hoyt praised the auditor's office and reported the county received about $1,000,000 back from the state through a comptroller application.
