County hears HNTB/ASI presentation on nearly 50 proposed road projects; court approves next work authorization

"We did we ended up with, you know, almost 50 projects," Lon Schell said as he summarized the preliminary inventory. County staff said work authorization 2 would expand stakeholder outreach and refine scopes and cost estimates; the court voted to approve actions 9A, 9B and 9C (accept work authorization #1 deliverables, authorize work authorization #2, and approve the related budget amendment). Commissioners discussed prioritizing safety and potential future bond timing but characterized the current step as information gathering and planning.
