Commissioner Hogg moved approval "to approve the letter of agreement with UT Southwest Medical Center and authorizing the county judge to sign," and the court also approved a line‑item transfer of $250,000 from contingency (0100425999) to Jail Emergency Medical (0100205333). Judge Hoyt said the addition was treated as one of "urgent necessity for the health and safety of an individual in the care and custody of the Comal County Sheriff's Office." The motion carried on a voice vote.
