Consultants for the Bond 2022 projects told the Rockport-Fulton Independent School District board on April 17 that construction continues on schedule at multiple campuses. Josh Hansen of Claycomb Associates and Jamin Welch of TEAL reported that "the High School is at 53% complete with $20 million authorized," and that Fulton Elementary was "90% complete with $11.52 million authorized."
The update gave trustees a snapshot of progress and spending authorizations but did not include a revised completion date. Board members asked clarifying questions during the presentation; Hansen and Welch provided routine status details about components of the high school and elementary projects. The report was presented during the public portion of the meeting before the board took action on bond-related purchases and change requests.
