The Sinton ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to approve a new salary structure for the 2025–26 school year that includes targeted increases and pay-plan adjustments. Teacher pay increases approved in the motion included a $1,750 one-time payment for teachers with 1–2 years of experience (paid over 24 pay periods), a $4,000 increase for teachers with 3–4 years of experience and an $8,000 increase for teachers with 5+ years, as outlined with HB2.
The board also authorized strategic adjustments to clerical and paraprofessional pay plans, transferred the Librarian, Trainer and Nurse (RN) to the Administrative Professional Plan, and approved a $25-per-hour rate for bus drivers with a CDL.
