The Seguin ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously Feb. 11 to adopt the superintendent's annual evaluation and related contract action after reconvening from closed session.
Joshua Bright moved and Grace Mueller seconded the motion "to adopt the Superintendent's Evaluation," and the board recorded ayes from Bright, Burns, Crettenden, Duncan, Dwyer, Guerra and Mueller; there were no nays. The board minutes show the open session reconvened at 11:44 p.m.
The evaluation and contract matter was discussed in closed session earlier in the evening under state law. Board business began when "Mrs. Crettenden called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m.," according to the meeting record. Alejandro R. Guerra is listed as arriving at 7:03 p.m.
The board did not record dissent on the motion; the minutes list the roll call and the unanimous vote. The meeting adjourned two minutes after the vote at 11:46 p.m., following a separate motion to adjourn.
