The Grimes County Commissioners Court adjourned a public hearing Sept. 3, 2025, after staff presented three subdivision replat items and no members of the public registered objections.
Chair asked for a motion to adjourn the hearing; Commissioner Michael Raskin moved to adjourn and Commissioner Chad Mallett seconded. The court called for the ayes, a recorded “Aye” was heard and the chair announced the motion carried. The chair noted the hearing opened at 8:45 a.m. and was adjourned at 8:51 a.m.
During the hearing the chair gave a brief update on county development activity, saying business is "busy" countywide and referencing several commercial projects, including convenience stores and associated drainage and foundation work currently under staff review.
