The Chair moved to approve collection under Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code §11.38 but no commissioner seconded the motion, and it failed. No further action to reinstate the fee was taken during the special meeting.
Separately, the court approved a motion to adjourn. A commissioner seconded the adjournment motion and the court passed it by voice vote. The special meeting concluded without any change to the county's policy on collecting TABC local permit fees.
