Traill County WRD directs contractors on multiple culvert, tree removal and washout repairs

Throughout the Aug. 4 meeting the Traill County Water Resource District reviewed routine maintenance and repair work across county drains and bridges and directed specific contractors to proceed. Items included installation of Bridge No. 304 on Murray Drain No. 17, erosion repairs on Morgan Drain No. 36 and Alternate 200 Drain No. 56, and contractor assignments for tree removal along Garfield Drain No. 32 and Holman Drain No. 43.
The board instructed Moore Engineering to determine culvert sizing required for 166th Ave. SE and to solicit quotes from TrueNorth Steel. Manager Thompson moved to direct Amb and Sons to repair damaged culverts in Section 17 on Hatton Drain No. 45; Chad’s Excavating was directed to fill an additional void found at the Blanchard-Norman culvert location and to inspect and repair a damaged flap gate on Red Owl Drain No. 55.
