Commission issues negative determination for 33 Goethals Way septic upgrade after Board of Health variance

Bruno to install a 1,500-gallon septic tank and leaching area within the Buffer Zone to a Coastal Bank at 33 Goethals Way. Board of Health Agent Drew Belsky confirmed a variance was granted because the proposed leaching area is less than 200 feet from saltwater.
Following discussion of the site and the Board of Health variance, Commissioner Caroline Little moved to issue a negative determination under the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and Tisbury Wetlands Bylaw; the motion was seconded by Sarah Toste and approved unanimously by Acting Chairman John Best, Caroline Little, Lilian Robinson and Sarah Toste. No conditions beyond the variance were recorded in the minutes.
