"There's a motion before the court by commissioner Philip Cox, seconded by commissioner Michael Rasca to allow Rodney Floyd to go ahead and make the purchase of the JP 2 debt additional desk, for the amount of $3,304.14, which is an increase of $304.14 from the previous authorization," Judge Fowles read. Commissioners voiced thanks to the facilities team for ongoing warranty work and punch-list responsiveness from contractor MBC.
Why it matters: Repairs and equipment purchases are funded from building contingency and are intended to maintain operations at the Justice Center and the annex. The desk purchase was approved as an incremental increase to previously authorized spending.
