Board approves student handbook with requirement for work session and advisory input

The amended motion passed on a roll-call vote.

Administrators said the handbook is distributed electronically and that minor edits can be made afterward, but the board wanted a single, transparent review period and a formal session to consider proposed changes. The board directed staff to solicit committee feedback and present consolidated redlines at the October work session so the handbook can be finalized for distribution.
