Trustees voted to approve the July warrant, late June warrants and the June payroll warrant during the July 7 meeting. The minutes state that Treasurer Doug Buggee has adopted a new payroll presentation intended to comply with state audit and reporting requirements.
Board members also agreed to post signed minutes and warrants beginning this month to better meet Open Meeting Law standards. Trustee Mullineaux, Trustee Lowary and others participated in the motions; most votes were recorded as unanimous, with an earlier abstention noted on a separate minutes-approval motion.
Treasurer Buggee said he will complete an analysis by August on whether to issue an RFP for fuel service or continue with the village's current contract with West Oil and whether to lock in rates or use market pricing.
