Highway Superintendent Norm Leblanc updated the board on ongoing and planned roadway and infrastructure projects, highlighting Hall Street as a multi-year effort with drainage and water-service work being coordinated with MSK Engineering.
Leblanc said the Highway and Water Departments are collaborating to replace and improve fire hydrants and other water infrastructure on village roads. Work is ongoing on paving and culvert repairs for Park Street, River Road and Welling Road. Welling Field work includes purchased fencing that will be installed shortly and topsoil that has already been delivered.
Trustees also heard depot preservation concerns from David Shaughnessy and agreed to solicit contractor scopes and pricing for roof-eave repairs.
