Township approves personnel appointments, contracts and grant actions on consent agenda

The Little Egg Harbor Township Committee on June 11 approved a broad consent agenda covering personnel changes, contract adjustments and grant-related budget actions.
Resolutions on the consent agenda included the appointment of Ronald Piszar as Construction Official, Fire Subcode Official and Fire Inspector; Angela Moreno as Township Chief Financial Officer; and Fred Cramer as Electrical Subcode Official/Electrical Inspector. The committee also authorized employment agreements with David Letts and Richard Wisniewski as supervisors in the Department of Public Works, and accepted resignations with payout amounts for Michael Brescia ($1,203.80) and Kathryn Weitz ($1,310.43). An MOU was authorized to change an employee's work schedule and Change Order No. 1 (Final) for the 2024 Drainage Improvement Project reduced the original contract amount to $345,949.88 from $360,213.13.
The committee also authorized T&M Associates for special engineering services for concept development and final design of the Radio Road sidewalk improvement project, and approved a budget amendment inserting $45,000 for the CDBG FY25 grant. The consent agenda was approved on a single roll call with several members recording abstentions on individual resolutions as noted in the minutes.
