Maybrook police report 239 calls for service and credit new Flock system for enforcement

Chief Dennis Barnett reported to the Board on the department’s recent activity, saying the department has handled 239 calls for service, made 12 arrests and issued 90 traffic tickets in the reported period. Barnett credited the Flock system the village has invested in and said it has been “extremely successful.”
Barnett also said there were no major incidents at recent events and announced additional police coverage for the upcoming Fourth of July celebration. He encouraged residents to use the department’s reopened Facebook page to learn about community outreach events, and said an officer will host a public presence at the Main Line Diner on Sunday, July 26, from 9–11 a.m. for questions and concerns.
