The Village of Maybrook Board of Trustees on May 4 approved budget transfers totaling $107,000 to cover personnel, contract and sewer needs.
Trustee Willaim Treco moved the package of transfers, and Deputy Mayor Charles Woznick seconded; the motion passed 5 Ayes, 0 Nays. The adjustments include $40,000 to Police Personal Services (A.05.3120.100), $6,300 to Building Contracts (A.05.1620.400), $5,700 to Social Security (A.05.9030.800) and a $30,000 transfer to JCO (G.05.8130.460). The board recorded the total reallocated as $107,000.
Board members said the transfers were needed to maintain existing services. Trustee Treco, who moved the measure, framed the changes as internal realignments rather than new spending. No member objected to the package, which passed unanimously.
