Mayor Leahy and board members identified playground spending and elected officials' personal‑service lines among the items reduced to streamline the budget. The board moved to reduce Playground Contractual (A.05.7140.400) from $65,000 to $55,000 and Playground Equipment (A.05.7140.200) from $10,000 to $5,000; both motions passed unanimously.
The board also left Mayor personal services at $22,002 and Board of Trustees personal services at $32,711 (the motions adjusted prior figures in the tentative budget to these amounts). Board members thanked residents for input and noted the budget remains tight but covers required daily operations.
