The Southwest Independent School District Board of Trustees met in a special session on Jan. 24, 2025, at the district central office and approved a slate of routine and capital items, including the 2023–24 district financial audit and construction documents for multiple projects. The meeting was called to order at 12:00 p.m. by Board Vice President Ida Sudolcan.
Trustees voted unanimously on motions throughout the meeting. Among the votes recorded, the board approved overnight student trips, the Order of Election, a joint election agreement with Lytle, and appointed Scott Stephens as the district liaison to the Bexar County Elections Department. In open session following a closed-session personnel review, the board approved the superintendent's recommendations for personnel actions and contract renewals. The meeting adjourned at 1:56 p.m.
