Clerk-Auditor Chelise Curtis presented a series of Board of Equalization adjustments and the commission approved the changes. The adjustments listed multiple parcels exempted as county-owned or owned by the Uintah Basin Association of Governments (UBAOG), and several stipulation-agreement or primary-residence value changes.
Examples recorded in the minutes include parcel 00-0003-2353 (old tax $2,040.24; new tax $1,132.20) and parcel 00-0009-6705 (old tax $13,570.06; new tax $7,601.53). Curtis also noted site improvements for a parcel used for cellular towers were removed from the assessor's value and will be billed to the cell-tower company (parcel 00-0007-8216: old value $153,316.00; new value $58,621.00). Commissioners voted to approve the BOE adjustments as presented.
