Public Works reports progress on Red Creek road and crusher move to Arcadia

Public Works Director Mike Casper updated the commission on ongoing county maintenance, saying work on Red Creek (County Road 1) is progressing with one lift completed and permission obtained to remove fences and widen the right-of-way. He said staff are measuring pavement areas and retention ponds at the new road department site as part of ongoing planning.
Casper also reported that the county's crusher relocation to Arcadia is nearly finished and the crusher should resume operations in about a week, which will help accelerate scheduled surface work. The commissioner discussion included a proposal from the City of Duchesne concerning the old road department property and the new site measurements.
