District directors outlined recent maintenance and upgrades and signaled more work ahead. Director Tom Tiede listed recent projects (secure fencing at IDE, expanded playground space at Prairieview, baseball field improvements at Lakeview, refreshed mulch and parking lot striping) and said the district plans a complete HVAC replacement at Lakeview and building-automation upgrades across buildings next summer. He noted, "Despite challenges in recruiting bus drivers, the District is successfully transporting over 900 students."
Director Keith Roberts said technology support demand had been high because of numerous new systems and that staff resolved a large number of tickets; he plans targeted Skyward training for grade-level teams. The consent agenda, which the board approved unanimously, included the purchase of a 2024 Chevrolet truck with plow and spreader for $66,127.03 among other personnel and procurement items.
