Council raises parking and pedestrian-safety concerns tied to CAC expansion and adjacent fire station project

On-site circulation drove discussion: Talbert described a proposed right-in/right-out access and noted the speed and crossing patterns had been a concern: "Like the speed that people come in through here... people walking across from these parking stalls, it's... terrifying," he said. Councilors asked for clearer cost breakdowns and for staff to analyze how the fire station’s parking work could offset project expenses or temporarily provide overflow parking.
