The school business administrator and board secretary said, "the superintendent of schools recommends the board of education accept the report for the 2425 school year prepared by HFA with no findings for the annual comprehensive financial report and the auditors management report." A motion to approve the consent agenda was made and seconded; the board completed a roll call vote that recorded 'Yes' votes from Mr. Kitchen, Mr. Cook, Mr. Hoff, Ms. Ferraro and Ms. Ryan. The consent items included receipt of the December 2025 board secretary's report, appropriation transfers, the bills list, 2025–26 home instruction approvals, out-of-district tuition approvals, banking institution signatures and acceptance of the audit.
The board also discussed routine policy and regulation items, a district HIV report, disposal of obsolete furniture and equipment, an incoming donation for Joseph Barbelger Middle School, field trip dates for 2025–26, senior seminar internship locations and a planned school bus evacuation drill.
